About Senan Ebrahim

Born and raised in San Jose, California, of Syrian and Pakistani heritage, Senan has always been passionate about science as a means to better our society.

As a Harvard undergraduate, Senan discovered his passion for neuroscience. He was elected president of the Harvard College student body, a position in which he worked to unite students, faculty and staff.

Following graduation, he conducted independent research on Andean ethnomedicine in Peru under a Trustman Fellowship. Senan graduated from the joint MD/PhD program at Harvard/MIT with the support of the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship. His PhD in computational neuroscience focused on machine learning approaches to predict seizures.

He is the founder of  Delfina, a digital health startup dedicated to transforming pregnancy care for healthier moms and babies. He also founded Hikma Health, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing a free health data platform for refugee and low-income patients to manage care with their physicians.
