About Ellora Israni

Ellora is a Staff Attorney at Civil Rights Corps in Washington, DC, where she litigates in support of movements to abolish the police, prosecutors, and prisons. She is currently working on cases regarding police abuse and pretrial detention.

Ellora is a 2019 graduate of Harvard Law School. During law school, she represented indigent criminal clients in Boston and Los Angeles. She was also the Managing Editor of the Harvard Law Review, where she supervised the publication of a special issue on prison abolition. Ellora clerked on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. In a prior life, she worked as a software engineer and graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Ellora is a Bay Area native who misses In 'n Out Burger and California "winters."
