About Jason Cheng

JASON CHENG is the founder and managing partner at Meta Health Ventures, a healthcare focused fund investing primarily in medical and consumer devices. Prior, he founded Livewell Neurosurgery, a private Neurosurgical practice. 

Jason completed his neurosurgical residency and medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. During his time in medicine, he published first-author publications in Nature Neuroscience, Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurosurgery, and PLoS One. In addition to his Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship, his medical training was further supported with a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship. He completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, where he was a President's Scholar and Mayfield Fellow.
