About Anja Ipp

ANJA IPP is co-founder of Climate Change Counsel, a consultancy that helps companies and organizations accelerate solutions to climate change. Her current work focuses on climate-centered reform of the international legal framework that encourages and protects foreign investments. She also serves on the board of the non-profit Swedish Association for Responsible Consumption and is a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher.

Anja previously worked as legal counsel at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, and as an associate at the New York office of a global law firm. She has also been a summer clerk at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and spent six years as a writer and editor at policy-oriented think tanks in Kabul and Washington, D.C.  

Anja holds a JD from Columbia University in New York and an LLM in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam. 

Anja currently lives with her (also New American) husband and two sons in Sweden, but maintains strong ties to New York and California.
