About Sanja Jagesic

SANJA JAGESIC graduated from Wellesley College and completed a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Chicago where she was the recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship, the Horton-Hallowell Fellowship, and the Mellon Dissertation Fellowship. Following graduate school, Sanja worked at Say Yes to Education through the Strategic Data Project Fellowship at the Center for Education Research Policy at Harvard University and at the College Board. Sanja was born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina and spent her childhood in a refugee camp in Hamburg, Germany before being resettled to Boston, Massachusetts.
