About Jasmin Sethi

Jasmin Sethi is a lawyer-economist, entrepreneur, and thought leader with over a decade of experience in the financial industry. She was born in New York City to parents who emigrated from India and became naturalized citizens.

Jasmin received her JD, PhD in economics, and undergraduate degrees from Harvard University. As a Fulbright Scholar in 2001, she also earned an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Jasmin has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently, Jasmin is the founder and CEO of Sethi Clarity Advisers, a boutique consulting firm specializing in AI-enabled compliance automation, retirement policy and strategy, and investor education. The firm advises financial institutions, technology companies, and organizations expanding access to retirement plans, helping clients translate complex financial regulations into innovative, compliant products and business strategies. Sethi Clarity Advisers also conducts in-depth regulatory research and develops educational initiatives that promote investor protection, financial literacy, and broader market access. Current and past clients include Saifr, a compliance innovator incubated by Fidelity Labs, Capital Group, Morningstar, and other leading organizations across financial services and fintech. Her leadership has earned recognition as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal's Most Admired CEOs.

Additionally, Jasmin serves on the SEC Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee, and the boards of the Pension Action Center, the Harvard Club of Philadelphia, and the Grounds for Sculpture.

Previously, Jasmin served as Special Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Trading and Markets, and Vice President of BlackRock's Legal and Compliance group. She was also an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and SEC University. Earlier in her career, Jasmin was an Associate at Mayer Brown in Washington, D.C., where she practiced general litigation.

Throughout all her work, Jasmin seeks to promote the financial access, literacy, and empowerment of retail investors.
